“This is the best limo ever!” - a wedding highlight

July 1st, 2009 - 10:47pm | by Dan Shallenberger

Spoken by Dillan, Jonathan and Camie’s son! As impressed with the limo that Dillan was, I was equally impressed with your wedding… absolutely gorgeous! Plus, working with the dynamic duo Geri and Tracy from Steve Lyons was a blast, as usual. Oh Camie, my wife LOVED your Jimmy Choo shoes.

You wedding video is finally finished. Matt should have everything ready for you very soon, but in the meantime, here’s your wedding highlight to give you a taste of what’s to come in your full video.

Enjoy!

Our military-a groomsmen prep

June 28th, 2009 - 2:31pm | by Matt Pine

No matter what you thoughts are on the war, I personally feel we should always pay tribute to those who have served or are presently serving our country. Melissa called me last year and told me of her FI Jesse still serving overseas and asked if Lifetime offered a Military discount. “Absolutely” I said. All you have to do is ask:)

Jesse and Melissa it will be ready this week. We decided to feature the boys getting ready on this one.

Mark Fortner really enjoyed working with you both.

I’ll be in touch,

Mr. & Mrs Smith-a wedding trailer

June 22nd, 2009 - 3:43pm | by Matt Pine

The #1 question I get from brides: “Should I wait to see him?” Pros and cons to both sides I think. The big moment in church were ya hope he cries:) or the more personal one on one moment with just the two of you. And yes, they do still cry sometimes.
Seeing each other before the wedding will give you more time for pictures, video and have great moments like this happen:

Nick saw Lauren for the first time in Eden Park. We did this a little different, with the groom walking up to the bride. I love both of their expressions in this clip. The stunning wedding and reception was held at St. Agnes in Ft. Wright, Ky and The Phoenix.
Just a beautiful Spring day for this wedding.

Shout out to one of my oldest friends in the business, Don Moore from Kamara Art Group. It was great to work with you again.

enjoy,

~mp

P.S. Jesse & Melissa, you’re on deck ;)

Chris & Jessica - a wedding trailer

June 17th, 2009 - 12:50am | by Dan Shallenberger

Well, this was my first Tiffany-inspired wedding, and it was beautiful! Jess, you did an amazing job with your wedding. I was so much fun hanging out with you both, as well as Geri & Joe from Steve Lyons Photography.

As promised, here’s your teaser trailer. There’s so much more, but it will all be in your final wedding dvd. This is just a hint at what to expect!

Enjoy!

A father’s toast- A wedding trailer & a tear jerker:)

June 4th, 2009 - 4:47pm | by Matt Pine

I met with a bride and her mom this week and they asked me an interesting question. “Do you ever get emotional doing weddings. Absolutely, in fact I balled like a baby editing this trailer. I have a daughter myself and have mentioned here before, I will be a total emotional wreck on her wedding day I’m sure.

Izzy and Dan had the dream team at their dream wedding. Steve Lyons did the photography, Doug Baker was the DJ along with an incredible band. The entire event was masterfully coordinated by Elisa Mackenzie at Elegant Events by Elisa and held at the fabulous Drees Pavilion in Covington, Ky.

The Lifetime team felt that this was such an amazing trailer, we did a re-edit for out newest opening on our website.

Please be sure to watch both.

Enjoy,

A group effort-an opening

May 26th, 2009 - 5:11pm | by Matt Pine

(Jen and Andrea April 3, 2009)

I shot Andrea’s wedding a little over a year ago in the same church I was married in May 28, 1988. So when Jen, her sister called and asked me if I remembered the family, I said absolutely, it’s wasn’t a wedding I’d soon forget. Just a wonderful group and it was so fun to go back. I really wanted to be open for her date at Norlyn Manor but was leaving for vacation. We decided to postponed our departure until early the next morning. This way I could still shoot the wedding and let the crew do the reception. Both my right and left arms (Dan and Mark join me). Mark does an incredible job here editing all three of our cameras timed out to a great Country song in this opening. Please let this one load all the way, it’s big.

Jen and Scott, it’s ready. :)

P.S. Look for special guest star appearances by Nancy from Brideface and Steph Carson.

Also, Katie Elfers and John Summers helped make this wedding a huge success.

A house divided-a reception opening

May 22nd, 2009 - 2:46pm | by Matt Pine

Jen went to U of L and Kevin attended UK and they STILL got married! Actually this wedding reception was so cute b/c they had Red and Blue sunglasses and beer koozies for their guest to choose from. Everyone had a blast, as you’ll see in the following clip. One of Cincinnati’s up and coming wedding photographers Steph Keller make a few cameos (She’s the bridemaid blowing the kiss). Check out her photography, she’s awesome and a lot of fun to hang with.

Yes Jen, the masterpiece is complete and ready to go. Please contact me when you get a chance :)

Serious Vows-a 2 for 1

May 19th, 2009 - 12:32am | by Dan Shallenberger

Barely making it through the vows without crying always makes me think of my own wedding. It was tough. And I’m a guy… not supposed to cry! I was so close. I escaped the man-tears by acting too serious during the vows, and not showing any emotion at all, and I’ve always regretted that.

Amy & Jake, you two were so much fun to be with for the day! And your cake. That was the most awesome cake I’ve seen to date! Your video is finished and ready to pick up, but I wanted to share with you a couple of pieces of your finished movie.

First, this is the Wedding Day Highlight, for remembering the really special moments of the whole day at once. Enjoy!

We shot side by side with the amazing Tom Taylor of Tom Taylor Photography. Great working with you TT!
Dan

I LOVE following you both to your special meeting room where everyone in the wedding party goes right after the ceremony, waiting for formals pictures. There are some really special moments to be captured back there. This clip starts with this post-ceremony, goes into a BIG family picture, and ends with the reception opening.

Tippy Toes-a first dance

May 17th, 2009 - 2:01pm | by Matt Pine

Meet Kevin, he’s standing on his tippy toes to get a better look at his bride Jen as she comes down the isle. The collar adjustment also makes this groom reaction shot even more priceless:) Jen and Kevin we’re adding the finishing touches on your wedding film. Should be this week.

We thought you’d enjoy one more sneak peek,

~mp
